INTRODUCTION

The Dagala Thousand Lakes trek is a breathtaking journey through the pristine alpine landscapes of Bhutan, offering trekkers a unique adventure in the heart of the Himalayas. Located in the Dagala region, this trek is renowned for its stunning natural beauty and the abundance of high-altitude lakes that dot the landscape.

The trek begins with a drive to Gynekha village, where the trailhead awaits. From there, trekkers embark on a picturesque journey, crossing rivers and ascending through lush meadows adorned with colorful wildflowers. As the trail winds its way through the rugged terrain, trekkers are treated to panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, including Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga, and Mt. Jomolhari.

One of the highlights of the trek is the opportunity to visit three stunning lakes: Reli Tsho, Hen Tsho, and Jama Tsho. These tranquil lakes offer trekkers a chance to relax and rejuvenate amidst the serene natural surroundings.
