Reservations
To expedite your booking, please contact us via email at [email protected]. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards for the initial deposit. Custom trips arranged by Rays Vacation incur an itinerary development fee, which is credited toward your trip’s total cost and is non-refundable upon cancellation. The remaining balance can be settled by check or credit card. We advise making early reservations, particularly for limited group sizes and trips necessitating additional preparation. Your prompt booking ensures availability and facilitates a seamless planning process.
Upon receipt of your deposit, we will secure your space and dispatch a confirmation packet. Subsequently, you will receive a comprehensive itinerary packet inclusive of visa applications, medical and health information, optional Travel Protection Plan details, clothing and equipment suggestions, a recommended reading list, and general insights about the countries you’ll explore. Additionally, we will provide you with our complete terms and conditions.
Approximately three weeks before your departure, you can anticipate receiving your air tickets, a finalized trip roster, and additional trip particulars. This meticulous process ensures that you are thoroughly prepared for your journey, and equipped with essential information and resources to maximize your travel experience while ensuring your comfort and safety.

Land Cost
The prices quoted are in U.S. dollars and are predicated on double occupancy. Please note that individual supplements are applicable. While we strive to maintain the published land costs, we retain the discretion to revise them in response to unforeseen and exceptional circumstances beyond our control.
The land cost typically encompasses the following: Tourism Authority-certified accommodations equivalent to three (3) stars; most meals; entrance fees; services provided by English-speaking licensed guides; baggage handling; ground transportation; and sightseeing activities outlined in the trip itinerary.
The land cost typically excludes the following: international airfare; domestic airfare for specific trips; expenses related to passports, visas, excess baggage, and airport departure fees; select meals to allow for personal dining preferences; alcoholic beverages; laundry; telephone calls; and other personal expenses. Additionally, costs arising from delays beyond Rays Vacation’s control are not covered, nor is the optional Travel Protection Plan. While it is recommended to consider tips and gratuities for local staff members—such as guides, drivers, horsemen, and cooks—they are discretionary.
We do not provide itemized costs. Instead, we adhere to a standard payment schedule. Upon reservation, a minimum deposit of $150 per person for group trips, or $200 per person for custom trips, is required. The remaining balance is due either 60 days before departure or upon invoice receipt. Payment schedules may differ for cruises, safaris, and select custom trips.
