Once in a lifetime, every trekker wishes to do this iconic trek. Trekking to Everest Base Camp is one of the highlights of Nepal and a favorite among keen outdoor enthusiasts. The trekkers should be well prepared to trek this strenuous one. The guides and porters can be a great help for trekkers to acclimatize and complete the challenging yet beautiful trek.
One must take a mountain flight to Lukla, which can be a memorable moment in life. Along with the world’s highest peak, there are around ten other highest peaks nearby: Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyo. Throughout the trek, you will also be able to sample the unique way of living within the Himalayan range, meet the friendly Sherpa people, and observe their unique religion and culture as you walk through.
Throughout the trek, we sleep and relax in many of their villages. One comes across the contrast-colored prayer flags fluttering in the breeze, and beautifully carved mani stones are the common sights along the trail leading the way to the next village. One may also try Tibetan salt-butter tea in tea houses or indulge in sipping a glass of chang (local wine), before falling into a peaceful sleep.
